“… she's projecting the traditional into the future with a distinctive stamp & swing that is both rooted & infectious.”

- Eugene Friesen, Berklee College of Music

Adrianna is based in Kjipuktuk / Halifax, where she runs Merry Time Music Co. – a community minded music school in the city’s Hydrostone neighbourhood.

Raised in the Ottawa Valley fiddle tradition and greatly inspired by Québécois fiddling, Adrianna cut her teeth at fiddle camps.

Her playing crosses back and forth across the continent with ease - from Cape Breton reels to Québecois brandys, from Ottawa Valley jigs, all the way down to Southern Appalachian stringband tunes.

Adrianna graduated from Berklee College of Music, her debut album won Instrumental Artist of the Year at the 2015 Canadian Folk Music Awards.

She is a passionate educator and teaches over 200 students each week individually, in Merry Time’s youth fiddle group Fid Kidz, and in Halifax public schools through Halifax Regional Arts fiddle program. She runs a fiddle camp in Halifax and has taught throughout Canada and the US
